William Travis Gray

William Travis Gray, 77, passed away at his residence in Nettleton on November 3, 2023.  He was born February 5, 1946 in Baldwyn to the late William J. and Mary L. Hickman Gray.  William grew up in Nettleton and married Shelby Williams on August 23, 1963.  He owned and operated Gray's Garage in Nettleton for many years.  William enjoyed fishing, rebuilding older cars, cooking for his family and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.  He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Shelby Gray; daughters, Patricia Buckner (Bill) and Tina Adams, all of Nettleton; sister, Linda Terry, Nettleton; grandchildren, Stephanie Adams, Trey Buckner and Haley Buckner; great grandchildren, Will Buckner and Aiden Buckner; step great grand daughter, Presley Kelly; special nieces and care givers, Sherry Williams and Judy Dillard; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, William is preceded in death by a daughter, Tapatha Gray; son in law, Steve Adams; brother, Gary Wayne Gray; sisters, Patricia and Carolyn Gray.

A family memorial service will be held at a later date.
