William Ray “Bill” Hunsucker, 68, died on Sunday, July 1, 2018 at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was born on October 9, 1949 to Robert Dennis and Beulah Dezine Berry Hunsucker. Prior to his retirement he was a truck driver. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, trading, his pets, and watching NASCAR. His greatest time was spent with his family and his friends.
A private memorial service will be at a later date.
Survivors include two sons, Donny Hunsucker of Smithville and Jim Patton of Ft. Dodge, IA; one daughter, Lorie Randolph (Chris) Nettleton; one sister, Ann Parker (Frankie) of Hamilton, MS; grandchildren, Jami Hunsucker, Mandi Elam (Josh), Stacy Cox (Jordan), John Hunsucker (Michelle), Sadie Lee Patton, and Tyler Randolph; great grandchildren, Lindsey Speck (Austin), Tyler Morris, Acy Patton, Matthew, Connor, and Ryder Hunsucker, Claire, Jaccob, Kaylie, and Brian; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Elizabeth Jean Patton Hunsucker; brother, Charles Franklin Hunsucker; and grandson, Robert Delane Patton.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dale Taylor, Bobby Johnson, Chris Randolph, Josh Elam, Robert McCaffrey, and John Morley.
