Steve Harold Foster, 72, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2024 at his home. He was born on September 17, 1951 in Houston, MS to Ervin Harrold and Helen Hawkins Foster. He lived in Monroe County most of his life and worked in the area furniture industry. He enjoyed buying and trading, grappling for catfish, and spending time with family. He attended Bethel Apostolic Church.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday, April 4, 2024 at Cleveland-Moffett Funeral Home with Bro. Stanley Blaylock officiating. Burial will in Haughton Memorial Park.
Survivors include two sons, Charles Foster (Sherri Jane) of Aberdeen and Walter Foster (JoAnn) of Amory; one brother, Bobby Henry Foster of Aberdeen; two sisters, Patricia Stanford (Kenny) of Aberdeen and Dorothy Cummings of Amory; grandchildren, Katelynn Palmer (Aaron), Kimberly Dawn Moffett (Dustin), Michael Foster, Chris Foster, and Gracie Foster; great grandchildren, Addilyn, Ella, Liam, Alyvia, and Jackson.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Nancy Foster; brothers, Paul, Jimmy, and James Foster; and sisters, Louise Head, Sissy Parish, and Carolyn Townsend.
Pallbearers will be Michael Foster, Chris Foster, Cameron Foster, Austin Head, Dwaine Foster, and Timothy Parish.
Visitation will be on Wednesday evening from 5 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
