Sherry Jones

Sherry Lee Randolph Jones, 68, passed away at her residence in Amory on Sunday, October 13, 2024.  Sherry was born in Tupelo on May 3, 1956 to the late Talmadge and Corrine Hester Randolph.  She grew up in Nettleton and attended Nettleton School.  Sherry married Billy Jones.  For many years, she ran a daycare at her home.  She was loved by all the children that she kept.  Sherry had the privilege of getting to care for the children of her former children that were in her daycare.  Sherry most definitely lived her life tending to the needs of others.  She dearly loved time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  Sherry's heart was always warmed by having her family around a table of food that she had prepared just for them.

Sherry is survived by her daughter, Savannah Jones King (Kevin), Amory; sister, Faye Minich, Nettleton; brothers, Sammy Randolph, Danny Randolph (Diane) and Mike Randolph, all of Nettleton; grandchildren, Brantley, Grayson and Lincoln Perkins; sister in law, Wanda Allen; special friend, Herschel King; a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Sherry is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Jones; sister, Barbara Lesley; brothers, Jimmy and Buster Randolph.

Funeral Services will be held at 1 PM on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at Cleveland Moffett Funeral Home in Amory with Bro. Jesse Strider officiating.  Burial will follow in Jones Chapel Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Wade Randolph, Mark Allen, Brandon Allen, Cayce Minich, Kade Baker and Jaiden Wigington.  Honorary pallbearers will be Shane Minich, Jason Keeton, Justin Randolph and Greg Randolph.

Visitation will be held prior to the service on Tuesday from 11 am until 12:45 PM.
