Sean Heffernan

Sean Patrick Heffernan, 53, passed away on May 16, 2024 in Lee County.  Born in Arizona, he was a son to Terry Heffernan and Anne Trimm Heffernan.   He attended Becker and Amory school and worked as a carpenter.  An all-around country boy, he liked listening to Merle Haggard, going fishing, and going to the casino.  

A memorial service will be at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at Cleveland-Moffett Funeral Home with Bro. Robert Earl Fowlkes officiating.  

He is survived by his daughters, Jessica Heffernan (Josh Motes) of Booneville, Kelly Harlow (Bo Reither) of Amory, and Chelsey Harlow of Madision; father, Terry Heffernan of Arizona; fiancé, Rita Stanford of Mooreville; the mother of his child, Ginger Dodd; his sister, Jamie Heffernan of Rock Falls, IL; grandchild, Bentley Reither; and special friends, Clyde Parmer and Phil Mann.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until the service hour at the funeral home.
