Scott Wigginton

May 1, 1967 — June 8, 2022

Brian Scott Wigginton, 55, passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at his residence in Amory.  He was born May 1, 1967 in Illinois to the late Roger and Carolyn Monaghan Wigginton.  Scott grew up in Amory, attending Amory, Smithville and Hatley Schools. He owned and operated an antique mall and Radio Shack in Amory for a number of years.  Scott loved all things electronics and could build, repair, take apart and put almost anything back together. He also was ann avid watch collector.  

Scott is survived by his longtime special friend, Laura Hood, Amory; aunts, Peggy Best (Jim), Becker, Linda Presley (Eugene Haney), Amory, Phyllis Wigginton, Smithville, Kathy McCool (Jimmy), Smithville, Sue Wigginton, Smithville; uncles, Randall Wigginton (Beverly), Smithville and Danny Wigginton (Linda), Fulton; a host of cousins.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Alan Wigginton; aunts, Frances Hester, Joyce Chism, Patsy Camp and Mary Bright; uncles, Dewey Monaghan, Prentiss Wigginton, Jimmy Wigginton and Donnie Presley.

A memorial service will be held at 6 PM on Friday, June 10, 2022 at Cleveland Moffett Funeral Home with Bro. Lloyd Sweat officiating. Inurnment will be in the Liberty Cemetery. 

Donations may be given to the funeral home to help defray the service expences.
