Sarah Barrett

Sarah Kathleen Harris Barrett, 44, passed away on Saturday, September 11, 2021 in Aberdeen. She was born on August 1, 1977 in Amory to Elvie and Frankie Mildred Hoots Harris. She was a homemaker who loved to cook. She enjoyed coloring and collecting figurines, other what-nots, and especially anything to do with butterflies. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Amory.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at Cleveland-Moffett Funeral Home in Amory with Rev. Elbrist Mason officiating. Burial will follow in the New Chapel Cemetery.

She is survived by her fiance’, Bill Elam of Fayette, AL; two daughters, Danielle Barrett of Fayette and Lonna Braddock of Nettleton; two sons, Deandre Harris (Patience Young) of Becker and Carter Braddock of Okolona; stepsons, Will, Robbie, and Henry Elam; step daughters, Tanya Burks (Chris), Jennifer Hendi (Tamer), and Jackie Elam; one brother, Ricky Harris (Mary) of Wren; one sister, Ann McCrory (William) of Wren; and two grandchildren, Delaney Mathis and Macy Harris.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Wallace Ray Barrett.

Pallbearers will be Paul Allred, Randle Allred, Michael Harris, Jr., Kiante Pilgrim, Deandre Harris, and Carter Braddock.

Visitation will be on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
