Ronald Beam, 62, passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2022 at North Mississippi Medical Center-Gilmore in Amory. Ronald was born in Tupelo on November 4, 1960 and was a son to Jimmie Glen and Ruby Fay Johnson Beam. “RB” as he was known to his friends and community, grew up in Smithville and was a 1978 graduate of Smithville High School. A totally devoted husband, he married his best friend, Teresa Browning, in 2001. Ronald began working right after high school in different manufacturing industries which included Charm Step and Hickory Hill in Fulton before their closure, Mueller Brass and currently he was with Motion Industries in Tupelo all the while keeping a nearly perfect attendance employment record. Ronald had a very quiet, unassuming personality never wanting any attention, but could always be counted on to help anyone when needed and even in death, he improved the lives of countless others through the selfless act of organ and tissue donation. Not only was he a devoted husband, but he was also a truly devoted son never missing an opportunity to see to the needs of his mother. He was a fan of Ole Miss football and absolutely loved doing yard work. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
