Robert "Pat" Patterson

Robert Barney “Pat” Patterson, 66, passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at North Mississippi Medical Center-Gilmore in Amory.  Born on April 2, 1956, he was a son to Bobby Dean and Naomi Louise Addington Patterson.  He was a graduate of Amory High School and he attended Mississippi State University.  Pat worked in the garment industry and retired as a heavy equipment operator for the Monroe County Landfill.  He married Charlene Miller in 1986.  Pat was a talented musician who could play anything he could get his hands on and in earlier years he played in a family gospel quartet.  He was a friend to many.

A memorial gathering will be on Saturday, April 16, 2022 at Cleveland-Moffett Funeral Home from 2 until 4 p.m.  

He is survived by his wife, Charlene Patterson of Smithville; two daughters, Jessie Wilson (Blake) of Hatley and Mandy Morrow (Matt) of Turon; one brother, Edwin Vince Patterson of North Carolina; grandchildren, Kaylie Brooke, Olivia Page, and Savannah Caroline Wilson and Harper, Lydia, and Flethcer Morrow; close friends Terry Hathcock and his Chop Shop Band friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Stevie Dean Patterson.
