Amory- Rebecca Easter Lindsey, 54, died Friday, August 21 at her residence. Born October 12, 1960 in Aberdeen she was a daughter of Claudie Clayton Easter, Sr. and Wilma Dell Foote Easter. She married Billy Lindsey. She attended school in Aberdeen and was a member of Aberdeen First Pentecostal Church. She loved spending time with her family and especially children. She also was an animal lover and enjoyed talking with her many friends.
She is survived by her son, Bradley Easter, Amory; sisters, Betty Valentine (Ted), Fulton and Barbara Miller, Hamilton; brothers, Claude Easter, Jr. (Judy), Hamilton and Clayton Easter (Evelyn), South Carolina; cousin, Stephanie Jiminez and her daughter Janessa; special friends, Glenda Grant, Maxine McMillan, Barbie Bowen and Douglas Veal.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by a brother Philip Wayne Easter.
A Funeral Service will be held at 4 PM Monday, August 24, 2015 at Cleveland Moffett Funeral Home in Amory with Rev. Ricky Bowen, Rev. Jerry Oakes and Rev. Greg Huguley officiating. Burial will follow in Hatley Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Daniel Jiminez, George Harris, Philip Hall, Eric Fretwell, Bob Pullen and Jason Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be Matt D. Carruth and Rev. Stanley Blaylock.
Visitation will be Sunday evening at the funeral home fromm 5-8 PM.
