Peggie Repult

Peggie Sue Repult, 82, passed away on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.  She was born on December 6, 1939 in Jackson, TN to Guy and Josephine Repult.  She grew up in Tupelo and was a licensed cosmetologist.  She owned and operated Peg’s Hair Works in Tupelo for over 60 years.  She loved to feed the ducks that came up to her front door and she had a heart for stray animals.  She enjoyed crocheting and knitting and she was very hospitable to those who were in need.  She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Tupelo.  

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Cleveland-Moffett Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Richardson officiating.  

She is survived by one son, Mike Hawkins (Sue) of Plantersville; one daughter, Angela Hawkins of Plantersville; one sister, Bobbie Jo Carpenter of Baldwyn; 3 grandchildren, Wesley Hawkins (Caitlin), Scotty Hawkins, and Cory Hawkins; one great granddaughter, Hayden Harper Hawkins; several nieces, nephews, and cousins as well as many, many friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two nephews, Shane Carpenter and David Carpenter; and her beloved pet, Rhett.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
