Pauline Wiginton, 86, died on Monday, June 27, 2016 at the Pioneer Community Hospital in Aberdeen. Born March 20, 1930 in Tazwell, TN she was a daughter of Samuel and Rutha Drummonds Hayes. She married Jimmy Wiginton and prior to her retirement, she worked as a seamstress at Amory Garment Company. Also a homemaker, she was known as an excellent cook and she enjoyed crocheting and making crafts. She was a member of the Bethel Apostolic Church.
Services will be 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at the Bethel Apostolic Church in Amory with Bro. Coy Hill, Bro. Stanley Blaylock, and Bro. Larry Davis officiating. Burial will be in the Haughton Memorial Park.
Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Jimmy Wiginton of Amory; one son, Philip Wiginton (Joanne) of Amory; two brothers, Donald and Ronald Hayes both of Hillsdale, MI; one sister, Audrey Heath of Monroe, MI; 5 grandchildren, Eric Wiginton (Shawn), Jordan Wiginton (Kayla), Alison Lopez (Justin), Jeremy Harris, and Tonya Roach (Marty); and 11 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Shelia Rhinehart; grandson, Kevin Wiginton; two brothers, Coy and Owen Hayes; and a sister, Wanda Gentry.
Pallbearers will be Eric Wiginton, Jordan Wiginton, Jaiden Wiginton, Justin Lopez, and Roy Lynn Murphree.
Visitation will be 5 until 8 p.m. on Friday evening at the Bethel Apostolic Church.
The family requests donations to be made for funeral expenses.
