Patsy Ann Ford Hurley, 74, died on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at her home. Born on December 16, 1942 in Prentiss County, she was a daughter to Lawrence and Lena Gann Ford. Growing up in Prentiss County, she attended Thrasher School and married Jesse Hurley. She and her husband moved up north then later retiring in Hatley. Prior to her retirement, she had worked for Quartet Mfg. in Booneville. Known as a sweet and generous lady, she enjoyed working puzzles, cooking, gardening, coloring, going to the casino and especially enjoyed playing games with her grandchildren. She was a member of the New Hope Church of Christ.
Memorial services for Mrs. Hurley will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at the New Hope Church of Christ with Minister David Highland officiating. Cleveland-Moffett Funeral Home of Amory is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include two sons, Jason Hurley of Hatley and Charles Hurley (Kathy) of Memphis; one daughter, Tammy Evans of Booneville; 3 sisters, Betty White (James) of Jumpertown, Jackie Weatherbee (Cecil Ray) of Rienzi, and Mari Godwin (Ronnie) of Booneville; 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and 3 brothers, Junior, Joe, and Jimmy Ford.
Visitation will be from 1 until 1:45 p.m. on Tuesday at the church.
