Patricia Pope, 43, died on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at her home in Greenwood Springs. Born October 26, 1972 in Montgomery, AL, she was a daughter of Buddy and Ada Carter Prestridge. Growing up in Greenwood Springs, she was a graduate of Hatley High School and she had worked as a CNA at Generations of Vernon, the Care Center of Vernon, and she had also worked at Mac’c Minute Mart Funeral services will be 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at the Cleveland-Moffett Funeral Home Chapel in Amory with Bro. Bradley Long officiating. Survivors include her mother, Ada Prestridge of Greenwood Springs; boyfriend, Donnie Brown of Sulligent; two sons, Kody Hatchcock of Fort Campbell, KY and Kyle Hathcock of Greenwood Springs; one daughter, Jessica Hathcock of Tupelo; two brothers, Feneley Pope (Michelle) of Sulligent and Terry Pope of Greenwood Springs; two sisters, Sherry Pope (Greg Hester) of Vernon, AL and Laura Clark (Teddy Billingsley) of Columbus; one grandchild, Lillianna Grace Mitchell; and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father. Pallbearers will be Caleb Pope, Terry Pope, Finley Pope, Hunter Bennett, Kevin Hathcock, and Noah Bennett.
