Angela Niccole Irvin Feaker Hadaway, 43, died on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at the Merit Health Gilmore Memorial Hospital in Amory. Born June 18, 1972, she was a daughter of James T. and Mary Ann Duncan Irvin. She worked as a Head-Start teacher before becoming disabled and she was married to April Dawn Hadaway. She was a member and leader of several chapters of TOPS and known with having a big heart, she worked with the homeless and was active with “Room in the Inn,” “Compassion in Action,” and with other ministries. She took pride in her teaching and loved her Head-Start and Sunday school children. She was the first with Girl Scouts in Monroe County to receive the Gold Award and she was Little Miss Aberdeen in 1977. Her hobbies included the beach, playing computer games, and camping at NACO in Tennessee. She enjoyed reading her Bible and watching her son, Jacob play sports. She loved her fur babies, Taz Elijah, Rispa Lynn, and Onyx Rose. She was a member of the Holy Trinity UCC in Nashville.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. on Friday, January 15, 2016 at the Cleveland-Moffett Funeral Home Chapel in Amory with Jeani Cranford and Bobby Cleveland officiating. Burial will be in the Pope Cemetery in Sulligent.
Survivors include her parents, James and Mary Ann Irvin of Hatley; wife, April Dawn Hadaway of Hatley; one son; Jacob Feaker of the home; one brother, James David Irvin (Shelia) of Gattman; one sister, Beverly Ann Irvin Means (Ron) of Hopewell, VA; niece, Mary Kilpatrick (Neil); nephews, Ronald Means and Matthew “Mirv” Irvin; great niece, Tatum Kilpatrick; special friends, Jeani Cranford, Steve Sipes, Pam Eastman, Deb Redmon, Nita Mills, Madison Sluder, and Bryan Currie.
She was preceded in death by 3 daughters, Rose Marie Feaker, Stephanie Lee Feaker, and Mollie Nevaeh Hadaway; and by her grandparents, Birtha and Raymond Irvin and Milas and Elsie Duncan.
Pallbearers will be Matthew Irvin, James Vandavender, Lynn Hadaway, Devin Powell, James Caldwell, and Ronald Means. Honorary pallbearers will be the Holy Trinity UCC family and Daniel Gregory.
Visitation will be 5 until 8 p.m. on Thursday evening at the funeral home.
