Nancy Knight

Nancy Delilah Nash Knight, 65, passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.  She was born on August 12, 1956 in Aberdeen to John Coleman and Earline Stewart Nash.  She grew up in the Coontail Community and worked for many years as a bookkeeper in the trucking business along with working with the family restaurant business. She married Johnny Knight on May 10, 1973.   Nancy enjoyed her flowers; fishing; and watching the DIY channel.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 31, 2022 at Cleveland-Moffett Funeral Home with Bro. Stanley Blaylock officiating.  Burial will follow in Oak Lawn Cemetery in Aberdeen.

In addition to her husband, Johnny Knight, she is survived by two sons, Jason Knight (Cherylle) of Prattville, AL and Nicholas Knight (Valerie) of Horn Lake, MS; one brother, Andy Skelton (Lisa) of Verona; two sisters, Angelique Brewer (Ronnie) of Aberdeen and Sharon Ross (David) of Muskogee, OK; grandchildren, Cory Ray Knight, Catelyn Ann Knight, Lillian Knight, Lucan Knight, Joshua Knight, and Heather Knight; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Johnny Nash.

Pallbearers will be Lucas Knight, Josh Knight, Josh Brewer, Dennis Knight, Robert Skelton, and Richard Skelton.

Visitation will be from noon until service time on Sunday at the funeral home.
