Nancy Lee Adams Foster, 61, died on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at the Gilmore Memorial Hospital in Amory. Born May 25, 1956, she was a daughter to Walter Adams, Jr. and Frances Varnon Adams Presley. She was married to Steve Foster and prior to her becoming disabled; she worked for Hunter Douglas for over 18 years. An avid reader, she especially enjoyed reading murder mysteries and in her spare time, she loved to write poetry. With a bubbling personality, Nancy loved to make people laugh and spend time with her family especially her grandchildren.
Funeral services for Nancy will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, September 29, 2017 at the Cleveland-Moffett Funeral Home Chapel in Amory with Bro. Stanley Blaylock officiating. Burial will be in the Amory Historical Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, Steve Foster of Amory; her mother, Frances Presley of Amory; two sons, Walter Foster (Joanne) of Amory and Charles Foster (Sherri Jane) of Amory; brother-in-law, Larry Tubb of Amory; 7 grandchildren, Katelynn Destiney Jackson Palmer (Aaron), Kimberly Dawn Foster (Dustin Moffett), Margaret Grace-Lee Foster, Michael Stephen Foster, Christopher Ray Foster, Bobby “Chance” Foster, and Cameron Lee Foster; uncle John Varnon (Jan); aunt Cathy Epling (Jeff); and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father; stepfather, Merle Edward Presley; grandmother, Mila Ree McCullough; and two sisters, Susan Tubb and Julia Carole Hall.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Irvin Head, Bobby Foster, Dewayne Foster, Larry Tubb, Timothy Parish, Tony Head, Nathan Kilgo, and Robbie Foster.
Visitation will be 5 until 8 p.m. on Thursday evening at the funeral home.
