Misty Stanford

Misty Lee Gray Stanford, 42, passed away on Friday, March 12, 2021 at her home in Becker. She was born on June 1, 1978 in Aberdeen to Leander and Madine Neal Gray. She attended Nettleton school. She had worked for True Temper Sports as a security guard, also in the furniture industry. Misty was a devoted mother and homemaker. Her hobbies included reading, cooking, watching television, shopping, and being with her family. She grew up in the Pentecostal church. A memorial service will be at 6 p.m. on Monday, March 15, 2021 at Cleveland-Moffett Funeral Home with Bro. Chuck Moffett officiating. Visitation will be from 4 until 6 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. She is survived by her daughter, Brittney Stanford of Becker; her uncle, Billy Joe Tata of Becker; her brothers, Stanley Gray (Brenda) of Greenwood Springs, James Gray (Beverly) of Becker, Eddie Gray of Verona, Donnie Gray of Amory, and Stewart Gray (Becky) of Greenwood Springs; sister, Barbara Dill (Ricky) of Mantachie; and a host of nieces and nephews.
