Minnie Alice Jones Killian Pullen, 94, passed away on Monday, July 23, 2018 at the Diversicare Nursing Home in Amory. She was born in Monroe County on August 7, 1923 to Lem and Naomi Treecia Roberts Jones. Minnie Alice was married to Elbert Killian and after his death, she married Raymond Pullen. She was proud of her independence as she continued driving up to the age of 92. A vital part of her life was her church family at the Christian Chapel Church of Christ where she was always a part of any and all activities whether it was a church fellowship, making bears with the Lady Bugs, or taking a road trip with the ladies. Minnie Alice was blessed in having travelled all throughout the United States and many excursions led her to Japan, Spain, Canada, and Mexico. Her hobbies included working with her flowers and doing word search puzzles. Funeral services for Minnie Alice will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Cleveland-Moffett Funeral Home in Amory with Minister Marshall Eubanks, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in the Haughton Memorial Park. Survivors include her daughter, Donna Kirkpatrick of Aberdeen; one brother, Danny Jones (Janis) of Amory; 6 grandchildren, Jeff Durbin (Caye), Wayne Durbin, Pam Long (Charlie), Ben Kirkpatrick (Libby), Michael Kirkpatrick (LeLe), and Diana Kirkpatrick; 6 great grandchildren, Olivia Long, Reed Kirkpatrick, Kristen Bennett, Stephen Kirkpatrick, Matthew Durbin, and Bradley Durbin; 2 great great grandchildren, Presly Anne Rainey, and Jase Bennett; her son-in-law, Phil Durbin; 6 nieces; 5 nephews; and her special friends, the Lady Bugs. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands; two brothers, Charles and Bobby Jones; one sister, Josephine Kosloske; and her daughter, Treecia Durbin. Pallbearers will be Ben Kirkpatrick, Michael Kirkpatrick, Reed Kirkpatrick, Stephen Kirkpatrick, Jeff Durbin, Brian Jones, and Wayne Durbin. Visitation will be on Friday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or to the Christian Chapel Church of Christ.
