Mickey McCullar

Mickey Dale McCullar, 45, passed away on August 17, 2024 at NMMC-Tupelo.  He was born in Amory on November 16, 1978 to Dale and Glenda Oliver McCullar.  Mickey grew up in Becker and attended Hatley School.  As a young teenager, Mickey began working with his dad, Dale, hanging and finishing drywall.  On September 26, 2020, Mickey married his girlfriend of 4 years, Brittany Ervin McCullar.  Everyone that knew Mickey understood his love for motorcycles and how he always enjoyed a good ride.  He also enjoyed riding 4 wheelers and fishing.  More than anything, Mickey loved his family, especially time spent with his children.  He also shared a close bond with his brothers.  Mickey was of the Pentecostal Faith.

Mickey is survived by his wife, Brittany McCullar, Amory; father, Dale McCullar, Amory; mother, Glenda McCullar (Kishore Kumar), Amory; children, Kassie McCullar, Charlie Ervin and Brandon McCullar; brothers, Keith McCullar, Billy McCullar (Heather) and Jonathon McCullar, all of Amory; nieces and nephews, John Calvin, Cheyenne, Kaeleigh, Lydia, Anna, Lily, Jacob and Ethan; a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Mickey is preceded in death by 3 infant children and his grandparents, Hershel and Louise Oliver and Elizabeth Parham.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, August 22, 2024 at Cleveland Moffett Funeral Home with Bro. Philip Blaylock and Bro. Eric Keeton officiating.  Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Steven Morris, Jonathon Morris, Mike Ervin, John Calvin, Sam Williams and Jeff Gosa.  Leighanna Guyton will serve as an honorary pallbearer.  

Visitation will be Wednesday evening at the funeral home from 5 PM until 7 PM.
