Mickey Cantrell

Mickey D. Cantrell, 56, died on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at the Merit Health Gilmore Memorial Hospital in Amory. He was born on April 2, 1959 in Amory to Howard and Helen Harmon Cantrell. Mickey grew up in Amory, attended Amory schools, and later worked in construction most recently with Harmon Roofing. A kind hearted man, he never said anything bad about anyone. He loved his daughter and grandchildren and he enjoyed traveling and watching football. He attended Unity Baptist Church. Funeral services will be 4 p.m. on Monday, February 8, 2016 at the Cleveland-Moffett Funeral Home Chapel in Amory with Bro. Ronnie Sutton officiating. Burial will follow in the Haughton Memorial Park. Survivors include his daughter, Erica Pannell (Ronnie) of Nettleton; two brothers, Hank Cantrell (Wilma) of Amory and Dudley Cantrell (Brenda) of Amory; 2 grandchildren, Paxton and Ella Jane Pannell; a cousin, Tommy Harmon (Ramona) of Hatley; and a host of other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Patricia Fogle. Pallbearers will be T.J. Harmon, Thomas Gray, Andy Harmon, Stone Hunter, Collin Aldridge, Greg Burdine and Roger Riley.
