Manuel Monterrosa, 70, died on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at his residence. Manuel was born in August 29, 1947 in El Salvador to Manuel and Lidia Amparo Dimas Monterrosa. He had worked in California and Texas and for the past 16 years he worked for Hurley’s Salvage Yard. Manuel was a very gifted mechanic and body man able to build a car from the ground up. He never shirked a task. He enjoyed eating at Huddle House on Sunday mornings; visiting the Country Store in Greenwood Springs, and going to Walmart.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Monday April, 2, 2018 at Cleveland-Moffett Funeral Home in Amory with Bro. Jackie McNeese officiating. Burial will be in the Hurley Family Cemetery.
Survivors include a host of family in Mexico; his friends, Jimmy and Linda Hurley, Lori Reeves, Harold Guyton family, Bobby Head, Daniel Seymore, and the folks at the Country Store.
Pallbearers will be Harold Guyton, Hunter Guyton, Josh Cunningham, Kevin Childers, Bobby Head, and Dewey Guyton.
Visitation will be 5 until 8 p.m. on Sunday evening at the funeral home.
