Lynn Jeffcoat

Cheryl Lynn Jeffcoat, 71, passed away on Sunday, June 25, 2023 at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.  She was born on November 27, 1951 in Columbia, SC to Junior Henry and Ponell Taylor Roland.  She grew up in Cayce, SC and she married Bro. Donald Jeffcoat.  She worked for many years as a secretary, and she was an excellent typist.  The daughter of a minister, she began playing the piano at age 10.  Lynn was a devoted pastor’s wife who loved to entertain guests and was known for her excellent cooking and hospitality.  Her giving heart could never be measured, and she loved unconditionally especially her grandson, Jonathan, whom she affectionately referred to as, "her star.”  

Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 27 at Cleveland-Moffett Funeral Home.  Further arrangements will be announced by Barr-Price Funeral Home in Lexington, SC.

She is survived by her husband, Bro. Donald Jeffcoat of Amory; her daughter, Cindy Savage (Britt) of Amory; two brothers, Jerry Roland and Randy Roland; sister, Branda Hardy; and grandson, Jonathan Savage.  

She was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Kathy Self.
