Kortney Ryneh Hatcher Harper

Kortney Ryneh Hatcher Harper, 36, passed away on March 11, 2025 at the NMMC-Tupelo.  Kortney was born in Amory on December 8, 1988 to James Curtis Hatcher and Stacey Ryneh Jenkins Hatcher.  She attended Amory Schools and married Chuck Harper on February 15, 2008.  Kortney was a faithful wife to Chuck and proud mom to Wyatt and Kaiden and was blessed to be a stay at home mom.  When she wasn't busy tending to the needs of her family, she enjoyed listening to music and watching TV shows.  Her greatest joy was her family and she loved the opportunity to cook for them.  Kortney lived a selfless life, always willing to help anyone in need.  In her younger years, she attended Victory Baptist Church in Guntown.

Kortney is survived by her husband, Chuck Harper; sons, Wyatt and Kaiden Harper; mother, Stacey Hatcher; father, James Hatcher (Tracey), all of Wren; stepbrothers, Aaron and Dillon Parker, Nettleton; grandmother, Bonnie Sue Jenkins; grand father in law, Hayes Galloway, Wren; aunt, Amanda Ausborn (Tony), Amory; uncle Steve Hatcher (Linda), Quincy; a host of cousins.

Kortney is preceded in death by her grandparents, Bonnie Buchanan, Jerry Jenkins, Clyde Buchanan, Johnny and Eva Hatcher, Earline and Kenneth Jenkins and Geraldine Galloway; uncle, Steve Hatcher.

Funeral Services will be held at 12 PM on Monday, March 17, 2025 at Central Grove Baptist Church in Wren with Bro. Zack Carter and Bro. Dennis Smithey officiating.  Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Brandon Hatcher, Josh Hatcher, Bill Beasley, Brody Beasley and Brailen Beasley, Matt Brown and Mark Buchanan.  Honorary pallbearers will be Kristopher Jenkins, Reggie Scott, Aaron Stringfield, Aaron Parker, Dillon Parker and Justin Hatcher.

Visitation will be prior to the service on Monday at Central Grove Baptist Church from 11 AM until 12 PM.
