Kimberly Demeris James, 22, died on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. Born March 17, 1992 in Monroe County, she was a daughter to Tommy Key and Rhonda Parish Key. She attended Hatley School and was married to Curt James on June 14, 2014 which completed each other’s life. Known for her distinctive laugh, she was fun loving and was a great mother, sister, daughter, and wife. With a creative touch, she made hair bows and scarves. She enjoyed swimming, fishing, and music and also cherished spending quality time with her family especially her son. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at the Cleveland-Moffett Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Smith, Bro. Danny Carl Burks, and Bro. Kevin Crook officiating. Burial will be in the Hatley Cemetery. Survivors include her husband, Curt James of Hatley; her mother, Rhonda Key of Hatley; her father, Tommy Key (Connie) of Arkansas; honorary parents, Jamie and Tonya Lovelady of Smithville; one son, Jayden Ray Forrester of the home; stepdaughter, Rylee James of Houston; step brothers, Garth Webster of Louisiana, B.J. Oliver stationed in Alaska, and Tyler and Gabe Lovelady of Smithville; sisters, Aimee Nicole Key of Hatley and Sarah Lovelady of Smithville; stepsisters, Amanda Oliver of Louisiana, Cindy White of Louisiana, and Shannon Phillips of Oklahoma; uncles, Jack Powell and David Powell; grandfather, Dwight Key of Alabama; grandparents, JoNelle and David Powell of Kosciusko, James Rodney and Shirley Parish of Hatley; great grandmother, Nellie Parish of Hatley; special aunts, Lachelle Bryant and Tina Cupito; and numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Alexis Mackenzie Forrester; great grandfather, James N. Parish; and an aunt, Edna Reese. Pallbearers will be Tyler Lovelady, Gabe Lovelady, Colby Burks, Nicholas Parish, Nick Williams, and Austin James. Visitation will continue until service time.
