Judy Wise

Judy Elaine Luker Wise, 67, passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. Born on December 17, 1954 in Aberdeen, she was a daughter to Melvin and Louise Posey Luker. She was married to LD “Sonny” Wise and prior to her retirement, she worked as an inspector for a number of years in the garment and furniture industries. She loved to dance and was a great singer. She had attended Central Grove Baptist Church and loved to work word-search puzzles.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, January 21, 2022 at Cleveland-Moffett Funeral Home with Bro. Dennis Smithey officiating. Burial will follow in the Haughton Memorial Park.

She is survived by one son, LD Wise, Jr. (Erica) of Amory; one daughter, Sandra Wise of Amory; 5 brothers, Charles Luker, Joe Luker, Edward Luker, Phillip Luker, and Chester Luker; 5 sisters, Helen Lee, Sue Luker, Faye Schrock, Nadine Posey, and Roxy Luker; 7 grandchildren, Tage Hadaway, Corben Franks, Ryddic Franks, Chloee Ives, Luke Wise, Collin Ives, and Cayden Ives; and special friends, Doris Marten and Phyllis Guthery.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Sonny Wise; and three brothers, Tim Luker, Michael Luker, and Billy Luker.

Pallbearers will be Cayden Ives, Collin Ives, Luke Wise, and Tage Hadaway.

Visitation will be on Friday from noon until service time at the funeral home.
