Hubert Wilson

Hubert Wilson, 46, passed away on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was born December 27, 1970 in Tupelo to James Thomas and Linda Fay Croft Wilson and he married Valerie Petree on June 2, 1993. Devoted to his family, he spent every moment he could with his children. Hubert was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing and hunting. Among his other hobbies, he liked to watch NASCAR and wrestling. He was a member of the Bigbee Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, July 7, 2017 at the Cleveland-Moffett Funeral Home Chapel in Amory with Bro. Justin Haynes officiating. Burial will follow in the New Chapel Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Valerie Wilson of Nettleton; one son, James Austin Wilson of Nettleton; one daughter, Katie Melissa Wilson of Nettleton; his parents, James and Linda Fay Wilson of Nettleton; one sister, Angela Fay Wilson of Nettleton; his father and mother-in-law, Charles and Peggy Watson; sister-in-law, Missy Sloan (Ronnie) of Amory; 4 nieces, Jamie and Jennie Avery and Kim and Kelly Sloan; 2 nephews, Aaron Hester and Lane Sloan; a and a host of aunts and uncles. Pallbearers will be Wade Randolph, Steve Ponder, Ronnie Sloan, Lane Sloan, Charles Watson, and John Barnes. Visitation will be 5 until 8 p.m. on Thursday evening at the funeral home.
