George Householder

George Vance Householder, 80, passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2022 at his home.  Born in Sikeston, MO on November 23, 1942, he was a son of Louis and Patsy Ruth Cobb Householder.  George farmed most of his life and he married the former Joy Shuerenberg in 1963.  He liked to attend gun shows and he was an avid hunter.

A private family service will be held at a later date.

In addition to his wife Joy Householder, he is survived by his son, Vance Alex Householder of Amory; two brothers, Danny Householder (Angela) and Gregory Householder (Jeanie) both of Greenwood; one sister, Jane Hoe of Sikeston, MO; one grandson, Matthew Householder; and two great grandchildren, Paisley and Silas.  

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ed Householder and Robert Householder, Jr.; and his daughter, Tracy Householder.
