Gary Dixon

Gary Lynn Dixon, 67, passed away on Thursday, November 5, 2020 at his niece’s residence in Becker. He was born on November 12, 1953 in Aiken, South Carolina to Elbert Lee and Ruby Addean Bond Dixon. A simple man by nature, Gary loved the outdoors especially fishing on the river. He was a master wood craftsman and could make anything with his hands which he took great pride in. He loved spending time with his family but could often be found riding the roads on his motorcycle. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at Cleveland-Moffett Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Webb officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time for the service. He is survived by one son, Michael Dixon of Hartsville, South Carolina; one brother, Danny Dixon (Teresa) of Clarksdale; one sister, Diane Pitts of Clarksdale; a host of nieces and nephews; and his beloved pets, Little Bit, Sheba, Lucy, and bird, Pete-Pete. He was preceded in death by his wife, Janie Pearl Dixon; his parents; and a sister, Debra J. Dixon Falletta. Condolences may be shared with the family at clevelandmoffettfuneralhome.com.
