Evangelist Williams

Evangelist Williams, 61, passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at Diversicare Nursing Home in Amory. Born in Chickasaw County on October 4, 1963, he was a son to Audrey Dean Williams. Evangelist had great adversity in life but gave great joy to all he encountered. He never said a word but spoke volumes with his life. Always smiling, he will be greatly missed by his family.

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at Cleveland-Moffett Funeral Home with Minister Letha Ferguson officiating. 

He is survived by his sisters, Cindy Williams Metcalf, Amory, Barbara Donelson, Amory, and Alice Faye Gates McPherson, Okolona; nieces and nephews, Derrick Williams (Chantel), Octavious Williams (Jessica), Kevin Williams, Rameshia Sheets, and Mykesha Priester; aunt, Geraledean Buchanan; uncle, Thomas Willie Williams; his godmothers, Estella Ivy and Lula Golding; godsisters, Tremeika Gates, Letha Ferguson, LaSonja Ivy, and Josephine Townsend; and godbrother, Robert Burks.

Preceding him in death is his mother, Audrey Dean Williams; and sister, Ruby Jean Moore.

Visitation will be on Saturday from noon until the service hour at the funeral home.
