Eddie Dwayne Beard, 56, passed away on June 16, 2022 in Jackson, Mississippi. He was born on August 23, 1965 to Ed and Martha Eddington Beard. He attended Okolona Schools and later married Lisa Moffett in September of 1986. Eddie worked for a number of years delivering boats for NauticStar Boats. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Amory, Ms. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, and all together just being outdoors. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and loved them dearly.

Services will be on Saturday June 18, 2022 at 1 p.m. at Cleveland-Moffett Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy McFatter officiating. Burial will follow in Greenbrier Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Rodney Beard, Chad Beard, Johnny Moffett, Nathan Steele, Coty Beard, and Kevin Tackitt.

He is survived by his parents, Ed and Martha Beard of Okolona, wife, Lisa Beard of Wren, son, Hunter Beard, daughter, Lauren Beard Gillard (Terrence) of Wren, brothers, Rodney Beard (Lisa) of Okolona, Chad Beard of Okolona, Mother-In-Law, Lois Moffett of Aberdeen, grandchild, Jayden Beard, special friends, Rick Gillentine and Bob Langley, and a host of nieces and nephews.

He is proceeded in death by his grandparents, Vertis and Lorene Eddington and Felix and Mamie Lois Beard, uncle, Bobby Beard, and father-in-law, Troy Wayne Moffett.

Visitation will be Saturday from 11-12:45 p.m. prior to services.
