Donna K. Fears, 47, died on Friday, July 10, 2015 in Monroe County as the result of an automobile accident. Born July 26, 1967, she was a daughter to Rex and Helen Holloway Fears. She was a 1986 graduate of Smithville High School and she grew up in the Church of Christ. She was a dedicated mail carrier for the United States Postal Service working nearly 30 years, and always smiling, she was a friend to many on her mail route. Known as a fun loving person, she was a great mom and she enjoyed swimming, shopping, and spending time with her family.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at the Cleveland-Moffett Funeral Home Chapel in Amory with Ministers Mike Todd, Bobby Cleveland, and Philip Hathcock officiating. Burial will be in the Young Memorial Gardens in Smithville.
Survivors include her mother, Helen Holloway Fears of Smithville; one son, Clay Todd and fiancé Jordan Holcomb of Amory; one daughter, Hannah Hillhouse of Smithville; 4 brothers, Charles Dallas Holloway of Smithville, Joseph William Fears (Angela) of Amory, Bobby Leon Fears (Angie) of Smithville, and Dennis Thornton Fears (Sandra) of Amory; one sister, Peggy Sue Fears Cadden (Roger) of Amory; special friend, Tina Pate of Tupelo; her Post Office family; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father; and 2 brothers, Jamie Lynn Fears and Eddie Lee Fears.
Pallbearers will be Tanner Fears, Christopher Fears, Austin Cadden, Roy Stark, James Wren, and Thomas Stafford. Honorary pallbearers will be her co-workers.
Visitation will be 5 until 8 p.m. on Monday evening at the funeral home.
