Daniel Earl Brown, 55, passed away on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at his home. Danny was born on August 16, 1963 in Amory to Earl Fred and Brenda Sue Martin Brown. Growing up in Amory, he was a 1981 graduate of Amory High School and before his health failed, he worked in the furniture industry as a cutter most recently for the Kellex Corporation in Tupelo. Danny was an animal lover and loved his dogs as his best friends. He was an avid outdoorsman enjoying gardening and hunting especially for squirrels and deer. He enjoyed the time spent with his family.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 30, 2018 at Cleveland-Moffett Funeral Home in Amory with Bro. Rob Sargent officiating. Burial will be in the Liberty Cemetery.
He is survived by his father and mother, Fred and Brenda Brown; two sons, Timothy Earl Brown (Ashley) of Nettleton and Daniel Dylan Brown of Millington, TN; one daughter, Casey Cox Brown of Greenwood Springs; 4 grandchildren, Taylor Brooke Brown, Hunter Andrew Brown, Alyson Grace Brown, and Elizebeth Rose Brow; a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins; and special friend, Debbie Lockhart Taylor of Amory.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Boyd and Birdie Brown and Onace and Paulene Martin.
Serving as pallbearers will be Mitch Martin, Scotty Martin, Wayne Brown, Todd Rakestraw, Trey Dent, Gary Martin, and David Martin. Honorary pallbearers will be Gary McAfee and Steve Mauldan.
Visitation will be on Saturday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
