Charles Daniel Seymore, 41, died on Monday, May 14, 2018 at his home. He was born on May 23, 1976 in Vicksburg to Debra Ann Vaughan and Charles Irvin Seymore. Daniel attended Becker and Hatley schools and he was raised in the Pentecostal church. As a master mechanic, he was currently employed by Hurley’s Auto and Salvage Yard. He enjoyed target practicing, hunting, fishing, anything outdoors. He also loved to grill for his family and enjoy time with his children.
Funeral services for Daniel will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Cleveland-Moffett Funeral Home in Amory with Bro. Jackie McNeese officiating. Burial will be in the Hurley Family Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Rachel Ann Seymore of Amory; his mother, Debra Ann Vaughan of Amory; his father, Charles Irvin Seymore of Amory; 2 sons, Layne Seymore of Nettleton and Charles Daniel Seymore, Jr. of Washington; daughter, Rebecca Seymore of Washington; stepdaughters, Tasha Wright (Greg, Jr.) of Caledonia, Crystal Clark (Jermaine) of Starkville, and Jessica Conner of Arkansas; sisters, Dawn Cavender (Jerry) of Amory; mother-in-law, Ora Miller of Hamilton; brother-in-law, Stacy Nowell of Amory; stepgrandchildren, Terra Quinn, Payton Quinn, Caylee Quinn, Gracie Clark, Victoria Wright, and Paige Wright; nieces and nephews, Chelsea Trease (Carson) and Robbie Cavender; special aunt and uncle, Jimmy and Linda Hurley; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Della Foster; and stepfather, Jerry Vaughan.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Head, Tony Head, Josh Head, Harold Guyton, Daniel Allred, and Terry “Pee-Wee” Alread.
Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. on Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
