Dale Fullerton

Dale Alan Fullerton, 62, passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.  Dale was born on August 16, 1960 in Birmingham, AL to Thomas David and Maddie Olean Jenkins Fullerton.  He was a 1978 graduate of Amory High School.  Prior to becoming disabled, Dale worked for many years as meat market manager for IGA grocery in Amory and later for Del Champs Grocery in Gordo, AL before moving back to Amory in the early 2000’s.  When he was younger, he was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed riding his horse and camping.  Dale was a fan of rock-n-roll music and he especially liked to listen to Led Zepplin.  He loved dogs and later in life, he truly became a serious student of the Bible.  Dale was a member of First United Methodist Church in Amory.

Funeral services for Dale will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at Cleveland-Moffett Funeral Home with Bro. Dalton Eason, Jr., Bro. Robert Fullerton, and Mr. Jacob Fullerton officiating.  Committal services will be at 2 p.m. at Bethlehem Cemetery in Fayette, AL.  

He is survived by his brother, Paul Fullerton (Beth) of Amory; daughter, Charlee Koch; niece, Ashley Fullerton of Columbia, SC; nephew, Jacob Fullerton (Chelsea) of Columbia, SC; great nephew, Whit Fullerton; and good friend and caregiver, David Fines of Amory.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and by a son, Chase Fullerton.

Pallbearers will be David Fines, David Darracot, Mickey Lambert, and Ricky Johnston.

Visitation will be on Saturday from 9:30 until service time at the funeral home.
