Clark Vincent Gray, 56, died on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at the Baptist Hospital East in Memphis, TN. Born on April 2, 1961 in Amory he was a son to Edward Marshall Gray and Paulette Plunkett Nix. Clark grew up in Monroe County and later moved to Adrian, MI where he attended school. Growing up, he was extremely close to his brothers and he lived life to the fullest. He was a hard worker and for over 20 years, he was employed by Volume Freight as a truck driver which he loved. Clark enjoyed fast cars, his Harley, and he was an accomplished guitarist. He loved playing music, crowds, and entertaining especially when he could be the center of attention. Clark was known to speak what was on his mind, but above all, he was devoted to his family especially his grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at the Cleveland-Moffett Funeral Home with Bro. Chuck Moffett and Bro. Mac Phillips officiating. Burial will be in the Gray Cemetery in Nettleton.
Survivors include his son, Clark Gabriel Gray (Chelsea) of Dearborn, MI; two daughters, Patience Gray White (Jimmy) of Beaverton, AL and Alisha Angel Gray of Adrian, MI; his mother, Paulette Plunkett Nix of Nettleton; his father, Ed Gray (Mary) of Becker; stepmother, Josie Gray of Cowan, TN; two brothers, Mark Gray (Lisa) of Adrian, MI and Shane Gray of Adrian, MI; 6 grandchildren, Destini Stephens (Scott), Clark Gabriel Gray, II, Olive Almond Gray, Trinity Rosalez, Mila Rosalez, and Ellie Rosalez; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews; and a special friend and co-worker, Karen Price.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Michelle Hendershack ; and a brother, Jason Plunkett.
Pallbearers will be Clark Gabriel Gray, Mark Gray, Nathan Gray, Jacob Gray, Shane Gray, and Bobby Edwards.
Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
