Nettleton- Clark Grey Alvis, infant son of Dwight Earl and Autumn Leigh Estes Alvis, passed away Saturday, September 1, 2018 at Gilmore Memorial Hospital in Amory. Clark was born August 8, 2018. During his brief life of 25 days, Clark brought an extraordinary amount of joy to his family. Knowing that Clark belonged to God way before he was born to his parents gives them great hope and assurance of knowing he is back with God.
He is survived by his parents, Dwight and Autumn Alvis, Nettleton; big sister, Coraline Blue Jeanette Alvis; grandparents, Robert and Kathy Alvis, Aberdeen, Wayne and Kathy Butler, Belmont, NC, Bobby Alvis, Nettleton, Nicky Butler, FL, Tabitha and Chris Elway, Hamilton, Christopher Estes, VA, Shirley Alvis, Nettleton, Betty and Jimmy Sandlin and Gloria Sandlin, Greenwood Springs; aunts and uncles, Karah Estes, Karri and Jed Davis, Hunter Alvis, Joshua Tyler Alvis and Madyson Elway; cousins, Kyrsten Davis, Maddox Baltrusis, Maverick Butler, John Avery Woods, Isabella Woods, Alyssa Woods, Sterling Laney and Braxton Laney.
He is preceded in death by his great grandparents, Jenny Butler, Earline Woods, Tom Woods, Edward Butler, Eva Butler and Ida Grey.
Funeral services will be held at 1 PM, Friday, September 7, 2018 at Cleveland Moffett Funeral Home with Bro. Robert Fowlkes officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Hunter and Joshua Tyler Alvis.
Visitation will be prior to the service on Friday from 11 AM until 12:45 PM.
