Christopher Scott Smith

Carolina Community- Christopher Scott Smith, 36, passed away at the NMMC in Tupelo. Born October 26, 1981 in Tupelo, he was a son of Joel Ray Smith and Vicki Morgan Smith. Scott attended Dorsey School and Itawamba Agriculture High School. Creative and talented with his hands, Scott was a master potter and was employed by Bean’s Ferry Pottery. Deeply devoted to his family, he was considered a caregiver too many, especially to his mother and grandparents. He is survived by his mother, Vicki Smith, Carolina Community; brother, Jeb Smith (Lori) Carolina Community; grandmother, Fay Smith, Carolina Community and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his father, Joel Smith and grandparents, John Morgan, Jr., Earnest and Joyce Cummings and Herbert Smith. A Memorial Service will be held at Carolina Missionary Baptist Church on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at 2 PM with Bro. Ricky Jones officiating. Inurnment will be at Wiygul Cemetery.
