Christopher Alan Roberts, 47, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at Monroe Regional Hospital in Aberdeen. Born in Amory on November 27, 1976, he was the son of Leamond, Jr. and Elizabeth Ann Riddle Roberts. Chris attended Amory Christian Academy and Smithville school. On April 23, 2005, he married the former Karen Brown and he was an electrician by trade. Working for Finney Electric, he was at several plants in Monroe County and at Mississippi State University. Chris was an old soul who loved owning and restoring classic vehicles and working in his shop tinkering with things to fix or put together. He had the ability to make others laugh and more than anything, time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren, was most important to him.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. on Sunday, July 28, 2024 at Cleveland-Moffett Funeral Home with Bro. Chuck Moffett and Bro. Scott Johnson officiating. Burial will be in the Smithville Cemetery.
