Bobbie Brummel

Bobbie N. Brummel, 84, passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at North Mississippi Medical Center-Gilmore in Amory. She was born on December 28, 1937 in Pontotoc County to Robert Louis and Lucille Conlee Brown. She moved with her family as a child to Aurora, IL then to Somonauk, IL. Prior to her retirement, she worked for Western Electric/AT&T. She was heavily independent and an avid conversationalist. She was also a member of Somonauk Baptist Church.

Memorial services will be held at a later date under the direction of Nelson Funeral Homes of Yorkville, IL. Cleveland-Moffett Funeral Home is assisting the family locally.

She is survived by one son, Brooks Dorian Brown of Peoria, IL; three daughters, Melissa Renee Gibson of Yorkville, IL, Robbin Hill of Wren; and Melody Nanzer of Earlville, IL; two brothers, Terry Brown (Maria) of Shipshewana, IN and Keith Brown (Shirley) of Horn Lake, MS; one sister, Betty Quarzenski of Elgin, IL; and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
