Betty Hall, 76, died on Monday, December 7, 2015 at her home. Born February 20, 1939 in Okolona, she was a daughter of Henry Franklin and Curtis Dale “Edith” Cole Camp. She attended Greenwood Springs School and was married to Howard F. Hall. Prior to her becoming a full-time homemaker, she worked in the furniture industry. Having a big heart, she opened her home to many. A keeper of the family, she enjoyed cooking, rose gardening, sewing, canning, and quilting. She attended New Life Tabernacle and Wildwood Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at the Cleveland-Moffett Funeral Home Chapel in Amory with Bro. Chuck Moffett officiating. Burial will be in the Pickle Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Howard F. Hall of Amory; one son, Johnny Hall (Tina) of Becker; two brothers, Joe Camp (Felissa) of Greenwood Springs and William “Shorty” Camp of Smithville; two sisters, Wanda Guyton (Jimmy) of Greenwood Springs and Sheila Ann Lane of Starkville; two grandchildren, Brittany Hall and Tanner Hall; one great grandchild, Bryleigh Kate Hall; a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and caregivers.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a granddaughter whom she raised, Jennifer Lynn Camp; two brothers, Billy Claude Camp and Henry Franklin Camp, Jr.; and a sister, Henry Mae “Marty” Pope.
Pallbearers will be Rodney Guyton, Josh Guyton, Roy Lane, Brandon Lane, Anthony Camp, Joe Camp, David Camp and Chanlder Wright. Honorary pallbearer will be Johney Irvin.
Visitation will continue until service time at the funeral home.
