Barbara Lann

Barbara Gayle Lann, 58, passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.  Born on December 10, 1964 to Frank and Naomi Larkin Hansbrough, she grew up in Henderson, KY. On April 19, 1986, she married Stephen Lann and lived in Smithville for many years.  Barbara was a devoted wife and homemaker who enjoyed reading, gardening, and landscaping.  Her greatest joy was her grandchildren and she supported them in all their sporting events.  She was a member of Amory First Assembly of God.  She loved her cats, Gizzy and Moe.  

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at Amory First Assembly of God with Pastor Justin Myers officiating.  Burial will follow in the Turon Cemetery.  Cleveland-Moffett Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements. 

Left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, Stephen Lann; her mother, Naomi Mattingly (Larry), Smithville; two sons, Cory Lann (Laken) and Zach Lann both of Smithville; three daughters, Ashley Spann (Ben) and Brittne Hall (Brandon) both of Smithville, and Nikki Taylor (Shawn), New Site; one sister, Mary Barrett, Smithville; her grandchildren, Carson Spann, Peyton Spann, Braxton Hall, Britlann Hall, Kynzlee Lann, Kash Devaney, Dani Gray Lann, Hunter Stewart, Parker Stewart, Austin Taylor, and Carley Taylor; one great grandchild, Averie Grace Stewart; her mother-in-law, Janice Lann; her best friend, Debbie Belue; a host of brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father and also her father-in-law, David Lann.

Pallbearers will be Michael Lann, T.J. Lann, Patrick Lann, Anthony Lann, Drew Lann, and Brandon Lann.  Her other nephews will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Visitation will be from noon until service time on Tuesday at the church.
