Amanda Louise Hurley Head, 46, passed away on Wednesday, October 17, 2018. Born on April 5, 1972 in Monroe County she was a daughter to Jimmy and Linda Semore Hurley. She was married to Bobby Ervin Head and had attended New Hope Baptist Church. An accomplished painter, Amanda had a creative and artistic mind. She was a wonderful cook and she enjoyed yard work and flowers. She cherished the time spent with her children and she absolutely loved kids.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, October 21, 2018 at Cleveland-Moffett Funeral Home in Amory with Bro. Shane Ray and Thomas Grimes officiating. Burial will be in the Hurley Family Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, Bobby Ervin Head of Amory; her mother and father, Jimmy and Linda Hurley of Amory; two sons, Josh Head (Tori)and John Head, both of Amory; one daughter, Destiny Head of Amory; one brother, Jimmy Hurley, Jr. “Pebo” (Arlene Adams) of Amory; one sister, Lori Reeves (Ricky) of Amory; one grandchild, Alyvia Rae Head; her mother and father in law, Thomas and Linda Grimes of Saltillo; sister-in-law, Shauna Owen (Kevan); brothers-in-law, Greg Grimes (Jenny), Tony Head, and Mike Head; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
Pallbearers will be Austin Head, Harold Guyton, Tony Head, Charles Foster, Kevan Owen, Greg Grimes, and Mike Perry.
Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. on Saturday evening at the funeral home.
